Programs
CYCSI Programs are designed to extend the school day curriculum, while offering students a safe, fun learning, and growing environment. Based on the community’s feedback, each program offered by CYCSI combines Academics and programs in the Arts and Technology. Meals sponsored by the Department of Education are provided for all Out of School Programs.
Afterschool Enrichment
Our Afterschool Enrichment Program supports homework completion Monday to Thursday. Students are allotted time for snacks and physical fitness before proceeding with any assigned homework. Staff members are onsite and available to assist students with homework tasks. On Fridays, we have club activities where students select from The Arts, Music, Technology, and Sports.

Winter, Spring & Summer Breaks
During the Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks we provide an enrichment program to help prepare students for the NYC standardized ELA and Math Tests. During the Summer Program we provide curriculum review in the mornings to reinforce student learning over the school year. In the afternoon the students participate in clubs. Community Service Learning/CYCSI Internship Program
Our Community Service Learning Program allows high school students to receive credit with progression to our competitive Internship/Stipend Program. Students interested in giving back to the community can participate in this program, without limitation on the number of community hours they can accumulate. Hight schools that participate in this program award students credit after accumulating 50 community service hours. Students who perform well can apply for the CYCSI Internship/Stipend program.
